MyCSA App
App concept including user research, ux concepting, wireframing and final design mock-ups.

User Interview Research
Conducted 5 extensive user interviews with current and former CSA members. Here are some of the common results.

CSA Weekly Information Search
While conducting user interviews, and as a CSA member myself, I wanted to understand where potential users were already getting the info they needed from.

User Profile
Based on this research, I created a user profile to hone in on specific needs to address within the app.

Goal Statement
After conducting research and creating the user profile, there was one clear need the app needed meet.

App Project Goals
The app needed to execute specific functions in order to meet these needs.

From rough sketches, made interactive using POP, I was able to refine and create lo-fi prototypes. After finalizing some navigation, I moved on to create a more final fully designed prototype in Sketch.

At the beginning of the mock-up process, creating a paper prototype was the easiest way to think out each step of the MVP. From here, I created a working interactive prototype to test some of the basic steps in POP.

After ironing out some key details, I created a lo-fi prototype using Sketch. Throughout the process I would bring this digital prototype into InVision to test the intractions and user flow.

After refining and testing the lo-fi prototype, I landed on the main screens and began designing specific icons, colors and text styles.

I brought my InVision prototype to my CSA share pick-up. The other members were happy to interact and give their feedback. I recorded the sessions with screen visuals and audio using Lookback.
